Prospects for Sale.
Calzone Sporthorse is an equestrian business that specializes in high quality performance horses. Our horses are matched with riders of all abilities from professionals to amateurs. We recognize the need and desire for people who want horses that are easy to manage, competitive or just plain fun to have around.
Click here to see our warmbloods that were selectively bred and raised to be top jumpers and dressage horses. They are priced to sell as we make way for more additions to Calzone Sporthorse. We also want to direct you to Honeybrook Farm. Our young horses have been bred and raised there. Honeybrook Farm has several horses that have been under saddle and are ready to show.
Our horses have top bloodlines: Sir Sinclair, Juventus, Woermann, Rolls Royce, Argus, Lachs and more.
For more information or to arrange a showing contact Julie Calzone at (337) 781-8572 or email jcalzone@calzone.com

It's been a while since I've had a chance to post something here. All of the horses are doing very well. Granite is 18 years young and still proves that with a good holistic approach to life, training can continue and the body can continue to improve. Thanks to Dr. Lance Cleveland (the chiropractor), Sharon Mouisett (the massage therapist), Dr. Ryan (the acupunturist) and Dr. Anne Karok (his attending physician since he was 6 months old), he is still a blast to ride and loving life.
New Louisiana is getting ready to foal in late April (her usual time). She's in foal to Riverman ISF and we can't wait to see the baby. Since it's an "E" year for Dutch babies, we are hoping for a filly so we can name her, "Elsie", after her grandmother America's nickname.
Wunschtraum II has been back at Didi Carpenter's Honeybrook Farm in Hockley, TX where he was born and raised. He's blossoming there and should be handily back on track by the spring. His gaits have matured along with his body and we're are amazed at how spectacular they are. His brother is a full time Amateur Owner jumper, so we had no idea this would be the result.
America II, Betty P. and Calzone are blossoming as well.
We're open to selling them, but it's nice to still have them around.

The babies are growing up.
Lexi.
We get lots of emails about Lexi. Lexi is our mare who was the first-ever horse cured of "moon blindness" in North America thanks to LSU Equine. She's doing great. Enjoying her exercise and new found sight.
